this is a good match-up between two able, talented fighters..

Nonito has always expressed his desire to fight montiel.

Montiel is on a roll knocking out opposition from left to right in the early rounds..

While Nonito's the kind of fighter who puts up a clinic before disposing off his opponents.

I think this fight is hard for me to call..

In terms of skill, Montiel still has it..even though his age could play a major factor if these two would ever met.
Nonito, on the other hand is the more hungrier, freshier fighter. And his speed could pose a lot of problems for montiel to derail it.

The title of the fight should not be "Who R U Picking"? but instead rephrased to "Who R U Fooling"?

it was a scripted fight from start to finish...the only shining moment from mosley was when he managed to slip a right straight inside floyd's defense and followed it up with a right hook staggering him for a second in the 2nd round. when i watched the replay, i thot floyd already saw what was coming when mosley throws the right straight so he deliberately fake his head receiving the punch but wasn't really hurt in the process. the right hook was a beauty of mosley but then again it was merely a test of floyd's chin..whether mosley unintentionally was caught in the moment while he forgot his script tagging floyd instead with a right hook that nearly sent him to the canvass is an issue beyond reasonable doubt.

Sports and Fitness / Re: Manny Pacquiao Will Retire Soon?
« on: March 22, 2010, 08:09:04 PM »
kung mo retire man gani si manny that's all up to him...i think he's done enough for boxing that all of us could look back and make us proud that one unique true blooded filipino fighter in manny pacquiao has reached the pinnacle of boxing greatness even surpassing the great Flash Elorde. But as they say in boxing...no one really knows for sure. even the boxer's pride can make wonders in the fighter's psyche egging him for the last encore knowing that his body has already taken so much punishment.
if and ever manny's mega fight with mayweather wont push through..considering that all options have been exhausted but with no avail.. still i would like manny to take on Edwin "IL Inca" Valero, or Juan Manuel Marquez, or Antonio Margacheato..

Sports and Fitness / Re: Can Manny Pacquiao Knock out Joshua Clottey?
« on: March 17, 2010, 11:10:19 AM »
if clottey engage manny toe to toe he could well be the second black fighter whose black ass could end up in the canvass. manny did fight one black fighter when he was still campaigning in the superbantamweight division knocking out Lehnoholo Ledwaba of africa.

what clottey did was a shame to boxing..all throughout the fight wa cjay gihimo kundi perme lang taklob og tago sa iya nawong. some pipol would say clottey was one tough durable fighter for manny to handle kay pila ka sumbag na iya na sustain he'd still won't go down. but given the turtle shell like defense of clottey it doesn't follow any logic at all if he's really that durable..coz it would have been a different story if clottey allowed himself to open up and be soaked up by pacquiao's barrage of punches in the head.

there's really no way of knowing how people nowadays are cautious when it comes to public hygiene ...some of them may be professionals but they don't even bother how to deal with their own wastes..too much convenience, in a sense that it could overtake social responsibility to mere passive complacency.

yup, sakto ka bai brownman..what boom2x needs is a new trainer. but i dont think at this stage boom2x could easily switch to a new trainer coz right now the ALA stable has really put a grip on his boxing career that his style has become synonymous to ALA's way of training that he has enormously influenced by them. if by chance man gani mo switch sya ug laen trainer, then that that would be a big task considering that boom2x style cannot be changed overnight.. Freddie Roach is a good option..pro lami pod 2 mo train si Nonito Donaire Sr. who trains Marvin Sonsona.

nothing much and nothing of significance this ILLUMINATI will change the whole perspective what the world has already been in the last century or so..we are giving too much impression of something that is not real..that is too good to be true. stories of make believe abound in this ILLUMINATI thing and i dont think what is happening right now with the current world events has anything to do with this ILLUMINATI..c'mon..what's next? the end of the world in 2012? bullcrap!

Mayweather Sr. is just that....full of s**t!! he can do no more than only discredit the skills of manny..disrespect someone like Freddie Roach who share his profession as a coach. i think the loss of his ward Ricky Hatton has really affected his personal life and coaching career so much that he would do anything to get back at the expense of manny's popularity just to get over with his personal demons. im beginning to think if there is still a valid reason to hear this man out..coz everything he has to say is leaning towards only of himself; which by far he has done but by contrast reflects only a conniving, egotistic, character of a man that he is..

too many flaws..i dont think boom2x will do more in his next fight even as he looks promising on this comeback fight. wala man gihapoy head movement..and his footwork seems a little bit off rhytym. this fight may look good on him for a tune up fight. but skill-wise he still has a lot to improved. power isn't everything..and boom2x has to make some adjustments to his fighting style before he can ever compete to a top level elite fighter in his division.
