Technology / Neil Armstrong proved Makkah the center of the earth.
« on: September 12, 2009, 09:52:58 PM »

The centrality of Makkah has been proved scientifically.

When the astronauts travelled to outer space and took pictures of the earth they saw that it is dark, hanging sphere. Astonished, Neil Armstrong said: Earth is a dark hanging sphere, who hung it? Armstrong was basically trying to say ALLAH is the one who hung it.

They discovered that Earth emits radiations, and they wrote about this on the web. They left the item there for 21 days and then they made it disappear. The disappearance was intent. The suppression of information here is significant. When they discovered this radiation they started to zoom in, they found that it emanates from Makkah, and to be precise, from the Kaaba. They found that this radiation is infinite. When they reached Mars, they began to take pictures, they found that the radiations continues beyond. They said this radiation had a special characteristic. The Muslim scientists believe that this radiation is infinite, and it connects the (earthly) Kaaba with the celestial Kaaba.

In the middle of the South Pole and the North Pole there’s what is called magnetic equilibrium zone. If you place a compass there, the needle won’t move since the pull is equal from both the sides, and this is why is called Zero Magnetism zone since magnetic force has no effect there.
That’s why if someone travels to Makkah or lives there, he lives longer, is healthier and is less affect by Earth’s gravity. That is why when you circle the Kaaba you get charged with energy. This is a scientific fact. Glory be to ALLAH.

There is a study that proves that the black basalt rocks in Makkah are the oldest in the world. In the British Museum there are three pieces of the Black Stone (from the Kaaba)… and they said that this rock didn’t come from our solar system. This has been proved scientifically and also published.

Obituary / Condolence sa tanang Member sa Iglesia ni Cristo
« on: September 03, 2009, 10:28:07 PM »
Lawmakers condole with Ka Erdy' family, flock

Lawmakers from both chambers of Congress remembered Tuesday the good leadership of the late Eraño “Ka Erdy" Manalo, executive minister of the Iglesia ni Cristo, and extended their condolences to his family and members of his flock.

Despite their differences in political persuasion and religious belief, lawmakers put aside their diversity and spent a few moments in solemn remembrance of the late INC leader, who they called variously as great religious leader, a man of great vision and inspiration, not only to the members of his flock but to all Filipinos as well.

Lawmakers in the House of Representatives coming from some of the country's most prominent political families who were believed to have benefited from the political backing of Ka Erdie were among the first to send their condolences to the family and flock of the spiritual leader.

“Ang buong pamilyang Marcos ay taus-pusong nakikiisa at nakikiramay sa pagpanaw ni Kapatid na Eraño G. Manalo (The whole Marcos family is one with the nation in mourning the death of Eraño G. Manalo)," said Ilocos Norte Rep. Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. in a statement.

"Ang aming pamilya ay patuloy na magdarasal na ang mga aral ng Diyos na kanyang isinusulong ay magpatuloy at lalung yumabong pa (Our family is praying that his teachings will live on)," added the congressman, the son of the late strongman Ferdinand Marcos.

In a statement, presidential brother-in-law and Negros Occidental Rep. Ignacio "Iggy" Arroyo said: "I would like to extend my deepest sympathy and prayers for the bereaved family of Ka Erdy."

Manalo had been known to have supported the political careers of late former President Ferdinand Marcos, former President Joseph Estrada and President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.

Other lawmakers in the House who also sent condolences the the INC leader were Muntinlupa City Rep. Rozzano Rufino Biazon, Bayan Muna Representatives Satur Ocampo, Teodoro Casiño, and Neri Colmenares.

Rep. Biazon, son of Senator Rodolfo Biazon, said that his family is extending its "most sincere condolences to the family and flock" of Manalo.

"Ka Erdy served as an inspiration and moral guide not only to the members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo but to the rest of the country, his service to God and country spanning several decades. While he will be missed here on earth, I am certain that he already has a place in heaven and his memory and teachings will continue to serve the purpose that he committed his life to do," the young Biazon said in a statement.

Reps. Ocampo, Casiño, and Colmenares said in a statement that their party is joining members of the INC in mourning Manalo's loss, saying Manalo was "instrumental in expanding this distinct church institution in the Philippines."

House Speaker Prospero Nograles said, "The collective leadership and full membership" of the House salutes Manalo, whom he described as a "true leader."

"He was a man of God whose life and sacrifices will continue to inspire millions of Filipinos and non-Filipinos worldwide to follow and live Christ's life and God's words. He lived to love," Nograles said in a statement.

Some members of the Senate expressed messages of solidarity and condolences.

Senator Manuel Roxas II said Manalo's death was a great loss, not only to the INC and its followers but to the entire nation.

"His (Manalo) inspirational leadership and great vision has brought together millions of Filipinos here and abroad through a dedicated ministry of faith and worship. Ka Erdy has made the Iglesia ni Cristo what it is today: awe-inspiring in number, influence and strength," the senator said in a press statement.

Senator Francis Escudero described Manalo as one of the country’s foremost spiritual leaders.

"The Iglesia ni Cristo would not be where it is today were it not for the tireless efforts of Ka Erdy to build upon what Iglesia founder Felix Y. Manalo established in 1914," he said.

"My whole family condoles with deepest sympathy to the Manalo family and the entire Iglesia ni Cristo. May they find peace and comfort in knowing that his loss is felt by all who knew, respected and loved him," Escudero added.

For Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri, Manalo was a man of great vision and an inspiration not only to his brothers and sisters in the Iglesia Ni Cristo but also to the rest of the nation.

"His dedication to bring the ministry of the Iglesia ni Cristo around the world made Filipinos proud. And that Filipino faith is being practiced and preached in over 90 countries through the INC," the senator said.

In a recorded announcement aired on dzBB radio Tuesday morning, INC spokesperson Bienvenido Santiago confirmed Manalo's death at 3:53 p.m. Monday, August 31, 2009.

Manalo was officially the executive minister of the INC, but he was also its supreme, charismatic leader who took over the church upon the death in 1963 of the founder, his father Felix Manalo. Born Jan. 2, 1925, he was the INC founder's fifth child.

Manalo died due to cardiopulmonary arrest. His remains will lie in state at INC's Central Temple in Quezon City.

Health and Food / Beware! That laptop could make you infertile!
« on: December 23, 2008, 01:36:47 AM »
New York: Just give a second thought before you perch the laptop computer on your lap - it can affect your fertility. Researchers in the United States have carried out a study and found that the heat generated by the laptops raises the risk of infertility in men who balance the machines on their lap, the 'WebMD' reported.

"Working on laptop computers in a laptop position causes significant scrotal temperature elevation as a result of heat exposure and posture-related effects," according to lead researcher Prof Yefim Sheynkin. Working on laptop computers in a laptop position causes significant scrotal (the pouch of skin that contains the testes) temperature elevation as a result of heat exposure and posture-related effects, say experts

Prof Sheynkin and his fellow researchers at the State University of New York came to the conclusion after studying 29 healthy young men aged between 21 and 35 for two, one-hour sessions in a climate-controlled room.

Men, beware of Viagra!

Participants were all similarly dressed in casual wears. After having their body temperature taken and standing in the room for 15 minutes to adjust to the room's internal temperature, they sat down and were given working and non-working laptop computers. The men balanced the computers on their laps.

The researchers then removed the nonworking computers, instructing the participants to hold the position for the rest of the session. Participants with working laptop computers kept the computers in place throughout the session.

The men's scrotal temperature was recorded every three minutes. The temperature on the bottom of the working laptops was also monitored. According to their findings, scrotal temperature rose with the working and non-working computers. The working ones prompted a greater increase in scrotal temperature - around 2.7 degrees Celsius - enough to cause infertility.

Facts and Trivia / 12 Days of Christmas
« on: December 23, 2008, 12:42:38 AM »
1_944329460l - Show Posts - slackware

There is one Christmas Carol that has always baffled me.

What in the world do leaping lords, French hens, swimming swans, and especially the partridge who won't come out of the pear tree have to do with Christmas?

Today I found out, thanks to the Internet.

From 1558 until 1829, Roman Catholics in England were not permitted to practice their faith openly. Someone during that era wrote this carol as a catechism song for young Catholics.

It has two levels of meaning: the surface meaning plus a hidden meaning known only to members of their church. Each element in the carol has a code word for a religious reality which the children could remember.

The partridge in a pear tree was Jesus Christ.

Two turtle doves were the Old and New Testaments.

Three French hens stood for faith, hope and love.

The four calling birds were the four gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke & John.

The five golden rings recalled the Torah or Law, the first five books of the Old Testament.

The six geese a-laying stood for the six days of creation.

Seven swans a-swimming represented the sevenfold gifts of the Holy Spirit: Prophesy, Serving, Teaching, Exhortation, Contribution, Leadership, and Mercy.

The eight maids a-milking were the eight beatitudes.

Nine ladies dancing were the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit: Love,
Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self Control.

The ten lords a-leaping were the Ten Commandments.

The eleven pipers piping stood for the eleven faithful disciples.

The twelve drummers drumming symbolized the twelve points of belief in the Apostles' Creed.

So there is your history for today. This knowledge was shared with me and I found it interesting and enlightening and now I know how that strange song became a Christmas Carol...so pass it on, if you wish.

Technology / RECOVERING SCRATCHES CD
« on: December 18, 2008, 11:24:08 PM »
Every user has had trouble with a scratched CD. In the case of data CDs (CD-ROM), the drive cannot properly read the CD, giving rise to reading errors. In the case of audio CDs, the CD skips when we play it.

The first thing to do when coming across a CD with a read error is to clean it, to check whether it the error is not being caused by a dirty surface. You can even wash the CD gently with a little detergent, using your fingers to clean it (avoid sponges, since they can scratch the CD). If the error persists, try reading or playing the CD on another drive. If another drive (or CD player, in the case of audio CDs) gives the same result (read error or skipping, in the case of audio CDs), it will mean that the CD is scratched.

Looking against the light, the recording surface (the flip side of the label) of a CD with this kind of trouble will allow you to easily see one or more existing scratches. A CD's data is recorded on a metal layer inside it, a silvered layer on commercial CDs, which is usually golden on CD-Rs. This metal layer is inset in a transparent plastic covering (polycarbonate), used to protect the CD's metal layer and allow printing a label on the side not used for reading.

A CD-ROM drive or CD player utilizes a laser beam to read the metal layer. This laser beam crosses the plastic layer and reads the metal layer. If the plastic layer is scratched, the beam will be unable to pass through it, resulting in a read error or skipping the music. In other words, the data to be read are still in the CD, the trouble lies in the layer of plastic.

As the CD's contents are preserved, a scratched CD can be recovered by polishing its plastic surface. If, after carrying out the above cleansing, the CD persists in giving reading errors, just polish the CD with toothpaste. That's right, toothpaste. It works wonders, and you won't spend a fortune buying professional cleaning kits. Polish the scratches with a cotton swab, rubbing gently the paste-imbued swab over the scratches until they disappear or until you notice that you have removed them as far as possible. Sometimes the paste may cause new scratching, but it will be merely superficial and easily removed. After clearing the scratches, wash the CD in water.

If there are still scratches that the toothpaste has not managed to removed, use a metal polish (Brasso) in the same way as described above. Finally, rub Vaseline on the CD, very gently (do not press hard), from moving out from the centre to the rim.

The last step will be testing the CD. If it starts working properly, great. If not, repeat the above procedure, looking for the scratch that is causing the error and concentrating your polishing efforts on it.

Remember: Do not clean your CD on circular way!

THINGS YOU NEVER KNEW YOUR CELLPHONE COULD

There are a few things that can be done in times of grave emergencies.

Your mobile phone can actually be a life saver or an emergency tool for

survival. Check out the things that you can do with it:

*I*

* The Emergency Number worldwide for **Mobile** is 112 .* If you find

yourself out of coverage area of your mobile network and there is an

emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to

establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly this number 112

can be dialed even if the keypad is locked. **Try it out.**

*II*

* Subject: Have you locked your keys in the car? Does you car have remote <
/O>

keys?*

This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone:

If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call

someone at home on their cell phone from your cell phone.

< B> Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the
person

at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on

their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your

keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away,

and if you can reach someone who has the other "remote" for your car, you

can unlock the doors (or the trunk).

Editor's Note: *It works fine! We tried it out and it unlocked our car

over a cell phone!"*

*III*

Subject: Hidden Battery power

Imagine your cell battery is very low , you are expecting an important call

and you don't have a charger. Nokia instrument comes with a reserve

battery. To activate, press the keys *3370# Your cell will restart with

this reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery. This

reserve will get charged when you charge your cell next time.

AND

*IV*

How to disable a STOLEN mobil e phone?

To check your Mobile phone's serial number, key in the following digits on

your phone:

* # 0 6 #

A 15 digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your

handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. when your phone get

stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this code. They

will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the

SIM card, your phone will be totally useless.

You probably won't get your phone back, but at least you know that whoever <
/FONT>

stole it can't use/sell it either.

If everybody does this, there would be no point in people stealing mobile

phones.

Inspiration & Hope / A Very Inspiring Story
« on: November 18, 2008, 10:53:49 PM »
Enjoy. Take time to watch the very last sentence!! !!!!!! !!! !!!

A minute read.......

Read this story, and
follow the recommendation at the end...

As I was walking down life's highway
many years ago

I came upon a sign that read
Heaven's Grocery Store..

When I got a little closer
the doors swung open wide

And when I came to myself
I was standing inside.

I saw a host of Angels.
They were standing everywhere

One handed me a basket
And said 'my Child shop with care.'

Everything a human needed
was in that grocery store

And what you could not carry
You could come back for more

First I got some Patience.
Love was in that same row.

Further down was Understanding,
you need that everywhere you go.

I got a box or two of Wisdom
and Faith a bag or two.

And Charity of course
I would need some of that, too.

I couldn't miss the Holy Spirit
it was all over the place.

And then some Strength and Courage to
help me run this race.

My basket was getting full
but I remembered I needed Grace,

And then I chose Salvation for
Salvation was for free

I tried to get enough of that

to do for you and me.

Then I started to the counter
to pay my grocery bill,

For I thought I had everything
to do the Master's will.

As I went up the aisle
I saw Prayer and put that in,

For I knew when I stepped outside
I would run into Sin.

Peace and Joy were plentiful,
the last things on the shelf.

Song and Praise were hanging near
So I just helped myself.

Then I said to the angel
'Now how much do I owe?'

He smiled and said, 'Just take them everywhere you go.'

Again I asked 'Really now, how much do I owe?'

'My child' he said, 'God paid your bill a long long time ago.'

This poem has been sent to you
with love and for blessings.

It originated in  The Netherlands
and has been around the world 9 times.

Vicks Vapor Rub On Your Child's Feet To Stop The Night Time Cough

vicksvaporrub - Show Posts - slackware

I received an email recently about how doctor's found great results in reducing a child's night time cough by rubbing Vicks Vapor Rub on their feet, then putting the kid's socks on, and letting them go to bed. Now this email stated that not only were they getting good results, but the Vicks technique was working 100% of the time. Hmmmmmm, Time to test.

I have a young child and now that we are entering the cold season I figured I would have the opportunity to test this method out. Well, the doctors were right. One night I woke hearing my child coughing steadily in his sleep. Remembering the email that I received a few days earlier I decided to give the Vicks a shot. I went into his room and started applying the Vicks. Now, my child is a very sound sleeper and will sleep through anything, so me applying the Vicks to his feet did not even begin to stir him from his deep slumber. I tell you this because the results were amazing. After I applied the Vicks, but before the socks were even on I noticed that his coughing subsided and his breathing was deeper. I wanted to think that this was due to the fact that I had woken him up and he was simply not coughing 'at that moment'. That wasn't the case. He had literally stopped coughing all together.

I went to bed that night and was questioned by my child during breakfast on how the socks arrived on his feet in the middle of the night... he didn't even know.

The skeptic that I am was amazed, but still thought that it was just luck. Needless to say a couple nights later my child was coughing after a long Halloween night. Immediately I went for the Vicks Vapor Rub. Again, the coughing stopped upon application. I can't believe how well this works, but I wanted to share it with other parents out there knowing that a good night's sleep is like gold!

GALL BLADDER STONE REMOVAL - The NATURAL Way
by Dr Lai Chiu-Nan

It has worked for many. If it works for you please pass on the good news. Chiu Nan is not charging for it, so we should make it free for everyone. Your reward is when someone, through your word of mouth, benefits from the regime.

Gallstones may not be everyone's concern. But they should be because we all have them. Moreover, gallstones may lead to cancer.

"Cancer is never the first illness," Chiu Nan points out. "Usually, there are a lot of other problems leading to cancer. In my research in China, I came across some materials, which say that people with cancer usually have stones.

We all have gallstones. It's a matter of big or small, many or few. One of the symptoms of gallstones is a feeling of bloatedness after a Heavy meal. You feel like you can't digest the food. If it gets more serious, you feel pain in the liver area." So if you think you have gallstones, Chiu Nan offers the following method to remove them naturally. The treatment is also good for those with weak liver, because the liver and gallbladder are closely linked.

Regimen:

*For the first five days, take four glasses of apple juice every day. Or eat four or five apples, whichever you prefer. Apple juice softens the gallstones. During the five days, eat normally.

*On the sixth day, take no dinner. At 6 pm, take a teaspoon of Epsom salt (magnesium sulphate) with a glass of warm water. Magnesium sulfate could be bought from the pharmacy.

* At 8 pm, repeat the same. Magnesium sulphate opens the gallbladder ducts.

* At 10 pm, take half-cup olive oil (or sesame oil) with half cup fresh lemon juice. Mix it well and drink it. The oil lubricates the stones to ease their passage.

The next morning, you will find green stones in your stools. "Usually they float," Chiu Nan notes. "You might want to count them. I have had people who pass 40, 50 or up to 100 stones. That s a lot..! "Even if you don't have any symptoms of gallstones, you still might have some. It's always good to give your gall bladder a clean up now and then .

Dear Colleagues, The whole world is scared of China made "black hearted goods". Can you differentiate which one is made in Taiwan or China ? Let me tell u...the first 3 digits of barcode 690.691.692 are MADE IN CHINA. 471 is Made in Taiwan . This is our human right to know, but the government and related department never educate the public, therefore we have to RESCUE ourselves. Nowadays, Chinese businessmen know that consumers do not prefer products "made in china", so they don't show from which country it is made. However, you may now refer to the barcode, remember if the first 3 digits is: 690-692 then it is made in China . 00 ~ 09 USA & CANADA 30 ~ 37 FRANCE 40 ~ 44 GERMANY 49 - JAPAN 50 - UK Thank you

Dagat man ay naiiba

Dagat man ay naiiba

Ako si Kim Samsoon OST

Maybe Its You

I've been alone searching for love
'til you came along and touched my heart
with you in my life i'll never think twice
it's you i've been waiting to call

Chorus:
Maybe it's you i'm thinking of
Who'll mend this broken heart of mine
it's you i'm wishing for who'll be with me tonight
someone to hold,someone to cry,someone who'll
make me feel alive
Maybe it's you all my life
Ohh....

No lonely hours but just precious times
I turn to you and i'm alright
Oh....
Never will die this feeling inside
with you every moment's forever

Maybe it's you
i'm thinking of who'll mend this broken heart of mine
It's you i'm wishing for who'll be with me tonight
Someone to hold,someone to cry,someone who'll
make me feel alive
Maybe it's you all my life

(instrumental)

Maybe it's you
I'm thinking of who'll mend this broken heart of mine
it's you i'm wishing for who'll be with me tonight
Someone to hold, someone to cry, someone who'll make me feel alive
Maybe it's you all my life

Someone to hold,someone to cry,someone
who'll make me feel alive
Maybe it's you all my life

Ohhhh....
Maybe it's you all my life
