Fb Bloggers expressed their feelings on the BILL several saying the RH Bill is evil others who supported the RH BILL said its not good to bring a baby into the world when the family has no job, barely a house to live in or it has barely food to offer for another mouth. Some said the church is not helping families who struggle with having too many children...

Talk of the Town / sick power of politicians who cut of needs to people...
« on: December 12, 2012, 06:08:31 AM »
I have heard so many stories and witnessed no water or electrical service for up to months to years at a time in this country if a politician or political incumbent is in office...One barangay I am well aware of was totally shut out of running water for one week because the mayor of the town knows that the people are in favor of the opposing candidate....Everyone deserves the right to services no power tripping politician should shut anyone off from basic needs..:-\

With this years International Lion Year Theme "In a world of service" so far it has come true for the 90 plus families that were left devastated by the past tornado that hit the coastal area of Jagna...

International Lions headquarters based in Illinois state in the USA has approved disaster relief from their international emergency relief funds dept.

A meeting with Bohol Lion club presidents and their clubs secretaries will convene together with Regional Lion chairman and PP of Tagbilaran City Host Lions George Lim this coming Saturday at METRO Center to discuss on how the clubs will spend the money.

Can someone please provide me with a list of the Tornado victims who are affected? I am thinking since construction is not allowed but the giving of commodities is okay its better to come of up a bundle of joy and rice to the victims while they are still recovering from their losses and damages...

Baba Yap for Tagbilaran Mayor and Kit Oppus for Vice Mayor, others on the ticket include Jerry Pabe, Tim Butalid, Jala, Bompat, among others as of now the group running has no official political party yet... :)

It's being said that one person making controversial head regarding this running group is allegedly one who filed a law suit against one of the candidates spouses...a couple years ago.... :-X

Last month several lions requested to lion district 301-B2 district Governor Manolo Lao that Jagna needs disaster relief after some picture taking and making reports by some of the local lions on the damage done to the area they turned it into the district governor he then sent assessed reports to Lions Clubs International requesting for help to be given....Below is the reply from the LCI regarding the release of funds that they sent to the district governor....

"Dear Governor Lao -

LCIF Chairperson Tam has awarded an emergency grant in the amount of US$5,000 to assist the Lions of District 301-B2 with their tornado Buhawi relief efforts. A grant check will be prepared and sent to the district. Until the grant check arrives, you may use district funds to carry out the relief efforts.

Please remember that according to the board-established grant criteria, emergency grant funds must be used only to provide basic necessities -- such as food, clothing, blankets, bottled water, and medical supplies for those affected by the disaster. The LCIF funds may not be used to rebuild structures damaged by the fires or to provide housing for disaster victims. The amount of the grant is not sufficient to meet these needs and other relief organizations and government agencies are better positioned to address such longer-term needs. Please also note that the grant funds must be utilized by the Lions and should not be turned over to a third-party organization.

If the grant funds are used for ineligible expenditures or handed over to another organization, the district will be asked to reimburse this amount to LCIF. Please contact LCIF if there are any questions regarding what qualifies as an eligible expenditure or an approved plan of action for the use of the grant funds.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if there are any questions. We wish you the very best with your relief efforts.

Sincerely,
Jindalle"

In the wee hours of the morning at around approximately 1 AM in the morning the supervisor of Bo's Coffe was stabbed two times in the heart causing instant death.

After working the shift at the popular coffee shop in where the victim was a supervisor him and a companion went to a popular drinking hole for minors known as Bojol Grill. In the restroom area a confrontation had taken place and three men causing the disturbance were calling names to the supervisor and his companion so the companion and the supervisor went running after the trio of trouble makers towards CPG and Lessage St in where one of the three men was able to get a hold on an ice pick and stabbed the victim twice in the heart.

Until press time the suspects are still at large.

Many establishments near to churches and schools are serving liqueur when they should not be...unless the said establishment has obtained a sales of liqueur permit allowing sales of alcohol from 10pm until 1Am in the morning.

City councilor Mariquette Oppus was said to be wandering where was the BGY Tanods when all this was going on?

I myself am wondering why the security guards did not tryto make and settle peace when the group was in the cr having confrontation....??? ???

Talk of the Town / Publisher Boy Guing bails himself from the Jail...
« on: April 05, 2011, 07:27:03 PM »
In a short news story that was published in the Bohol Chronicle it was said that the Sunday Post Publisher Boy Guing had already paid his arrest bail of PhP 10.000 after the trail court had set out a warrant for his arrest and another mans arrest who was writing news that was liable against an well known SK person here in Bohol.

The news published by the newspaper a few months back apparently did not hold true to any creditability there fore putting the writer D'érs and it's publisher of the paper under arrest this past week.

D' Ers is beloved to have left Bohol already. and some resources say he has also bailed himself out from arrest.

Several months ago a tourist van was robbed near to Danao Bohol.

One of the alleged suspects in that robbery has been shot at during a shoot out in Cebu at a loan shop located in downtown city of Cebu in where the same alleged robbers were making a hold up. The robbers had gotten away on their getaway motorcycle despite their being shot at by the local PNP in Cebu.

According to reports Teragosa was shot at on the left side of his chest this week.

It has been heard from some tourist coming here to Bohol that so called tourist guides are the ones plotting the robberies to take place as they can dispatch info to the robbers on when and where will be the location of this particular tourist.

Media ---What you may know or only hear about.

They boast and toast together as bosom buddies normally do....

They preach to the public about how fair they really are and preach to the public on how others should be....BUT are they practicing what they preach?

I was recently made aware that some media men physically assault their families and their their friends and as well as internationals persons that have been assaulted in the past month by a particular media man.

some the things being said had caused GRAVE ORDEAL FOR TWO PARTICULAR MEDIA MeN. what A pity THE MAIN MANAGER Of this CULPRIT'S OUTLET CANNOT EVEN CONTROL HIS MEN IN THIS ISSUE at hand.

Will MEDIA EVER STOP THEIR BACK BITING and crab mentality against one another?......Some media even went as far as cashing in on their own personalities instead of focusing on the issues at hand.

I had taken the campaign media experience as if it were being used as a popularity contest amongst other media..

I wished media would go back to being good.

Maybe the strategy used by the particular media man was psychological plot to try to dog out the political competition against his bet to win???

I have names that belong to everything that is going on in the big city!!!

A young lady who is suffering with a very painful swollen and toxic Goitar that has caused her speaking difficulty came to Radio Station DYRD in Tagbilaran City's popular nightly program known as "Tagbilaran By Night" asking help from the local listeners for her father who had an operation for an ulcer and also was found with other holes in his stomach.

The little lady is the daughter of Tirso Avenido from Bienvinedo Bohol when asking help from the listeners she was able to raise over PHp3.150.00 from some of the kindest and caring citizens of Tagbilaran.

I am sure this Boholano father has a lot to be proud about as she was able to buy all her dads medicines prescribed by the Dr. for her dad who is admitted in the hospital.

The young lady was so over whelmed and very thankful and very blessed for the generosity of the people.

She asked me if she could shout that....she loved radio DYRD very much!!! I told her it was not necessary.

Remember it is always better to give than to receive!!!
