I might miss some points! But Enstein is true to his words as a scientist or as an innovator. Happiness as I understand what he meant is a destructive state of mind that renders the mind inutile in developing creative ideas.

One contrasting aspect between a doctor and a civil engineer is the way how the quality of services are guaranteed. The work or project done by a civil engineer is guaranteed for fifteen years before his liabilities expire. Contrarily, a doctor waives his liability even before he starts his work! LOL

Oftentimes, one's dream is challenged by the reactions of other people. Negative reaction includes debasing one's ability to fulfill that dream like , "Paano ka makapag-aral, wala namang hanapbuhay magulang mo? Magtanim ka na lang ng kamote, may aanihin ka pa.", a demeaning side comments that may dampen one's enthusiasm to achieve one's goal. Yet, most dreamers develop the safety net to shield themselves from being pulled down by others (mga talangka!) or, against a hostile environment. They learn so fast of becoming more resilient 'against all odds' even before they obtain their diplomas.

This reminds me of a joke,

Inside a little classroom, a teacher taught value education to her pupils.

Teacher: Mark, anong kurso ang gusto mo pag laki?

Mark: Gusto ko mam maging doktor.

Teacher: Bakit isang dokto ang gusto mo?

Mark: Upang gamutin ko ang mga sakit ng aking KAPWA.

Teacher: Very good si Mark. Ikaw naman Lourdes?

Lourdes: Mam, gusto kong maging nurse.

Juan: Mam gusto kong maging KAPWA.

Teacher: Ha? Bakit naman gusto mong maging KAPWA?

Juan: Aron hayahay mam!!!

Teacher: ?!#@*#

When a man reaches the age of 75, he thanks God for the life well lived. When he is able to celebrate his 85th birthday, he thanks God for giving him a bonus of ten years. Pag molapas na siya nuybenta, dili na bonus ang gihatag niya kundi bugnot na. LOL

"Patay kang bata ka!" Addicts often resort to this kind of stuff to affirm themselves that happiness could nowhere be found.

Mao ba? Maswerte ka sa imong amahan Doc! Pero as I guess mas swerte sya to have you as his child. Civil Engineers are destined to build roads and bridges for human communications to flow smoothly, erect buildings where humans are provided with oportunities to work efficiently and provide a decent living for their families, and houses to provide them shelter. Pero mas superb ang missions ng mga doctors like you.

That's exactly right Doc. All individuals have a childhood dream. Often, one's dream is prompted by family conditions and environmental influence. In example, when a child is raised from a poor family and hostile environment, he is prompted to dream a wealthy man someday to alleviate the situation he experiences. He may strive to seek a higher level of learning to hone himself to achieve his goal or any available means of his choice. However, in the process, there is no room for convenience and complacency because one has to struggle the hardest way to achieve that dream.

Here's my viewpoint as a layman about aging and retirement. You may follow this link should you wish to read the full context.

I have to accept the fact that I am going into that direction as you are. Although my physical condition may not manifest such a human transformation, I heard from around children calling me 'Lolo' 'coz of the snow froast at my top but the furnace deep inside of me is still burning as a young carabao. So, I partly affirm such condition with an open mind. LOL! As a matter of fact, it is an honor for me to become the youngest Ninong in two golden wedding rites already, a fete to reckon with among the oldies. And I still hope to add some more in my record book! Well, life must go on 'igan' but as soon as you feel  that sign, be cool and stay young as you are! Merry Christmas to Everyone in TB!

We cannot make a twist on what the Holy Scripture told Adam and Eve. The Book of Genesis though written in the past will ever reverberate the present and the future. Others, who consider it a myth just find their safe-house of reasoning to conceal their utter lack of concern to help sustain the essence of continuing human reproduction.

If we judge not to judge the judge who unfairly judges a case in a justice court, who will judge this judge comes the judgement day?
