Trappists are known for their farming abilities even in the one and only Trappist Monastery in Guimaras, Iloilo...



Naa diay monastery sa Guimaras, Iloilo? I wonder if the trappist monks there grow their own mangoes...because I know that Guimaras Island is renowned for their delicious home-grown mangoes.

from a former trappist novice (he ended up as a filmmaker), i learned that they do grow everything there in guimaras.

Is it wrong to have feelings of joining a religious life? I am a medical intern, but i tell you, i always want to join religious life. I wanted to join the seminary after college but i was scared to disappoint my family in not going into medicine.

My very good friend, JR Louvre, is now a 3rd year major seminarian. He will be ordained a priest after the end of next year. How I wish i was as strong as he, who was able to decide so quickly and so surely into religious life...
