If my memory serves me right, Isles' mother is from Valencia. When she, Isles, was a new member to the forum, she would respond to my posts in the Valencia threads; sharing how she used to visit Valencia as a child ; and during her vacations.
It is true in the fact that for many Valencianhons , the memories spent in our beloved Valencia keeps us coming back. Sometimes, the time in between those visits may be a bit extended. My sister, who recently went back to Bohol, Philippines, visited Valencia this past May 2011. The last time she was home (Valencia) was back in 1998, for the funeral of our grandmother, anhing Mrs. Fortunata Tan-Salvo.
Ning hilak daw ahong igsoon baje when naka visit sija sa ang grave sa among Lola. Ning flood back ijang memories sa among lola og lolo sa bata pa mi. Na hilak ko when I was told of this by my aunt and relatives.
