I really cant get over the beauty of these flowers. And you know what? when i was at the desert, i read a pamphlet nga ilang gihatag nako, and i learned nga ang mga flowers diay nag pa gwapahay to attract their pollinators and NOT us human beings! kita diay second hand ra ta sa ilang purpose why they looked that way! Mao nga pagka kita nako aning imong pics, the article really strikes me, nga wa man unta nako to panumbalinga! hahaha. Yup! your Bleeding heart must have been flirting the birds since it bloomed! Interesting noh?
Abi nimo, i really learned from the different pictures posted here in diff'rent places. I really love it, and i cant get over how beautiful our planet is! It is just too bad nga we cant live forever to see it.
Bella, I heard you're falling in love with the flowers. hehehe Btw, it's a perennial kind of flower.
How to grow: Bleeding hearts need open or partial shade with an evenly moist, slightly acidic soil. Plenty of peat moss must be used when planting. Pine needles or pine bark are good for mulching.
Propagation: By division in early spring or from seed; roots are fleshy and sold by the number of eyes present on plant starts. Transplant self-sown plants.
Uses: This plant is a lovely sight when planted in a shady bed or woodland border.
