congratulations, fr chic!  more pictures in the coming days, please.

kanang kataposan dinha, kanang refuge of sinners, it brings back poignant memories of my late eldest brother.  he used to give us (my sister and i) surprise visits and noticed that every so often there's someone or other who's on sleepover, usually former college friends who ran away from home or had taken temporary refuge to heal a broken heart.  (funny, even his own daughter ran to us once to escape her quarrel with her mom.) 

my brother took to calling our place "el refugio de los pecadores".  somehow that stuck with me as something to smile about.  oh, that great brother.  i'm missing him again...

Thank you, Ms Isles. My parishioners enjoyed it tremendously esp seeing how united the Fil-Am communities in putting it together since that Friday evening when they prepared and decorated the hall. Even more so how festive our reception and programs were... wa daw sa ila na
