Since I love parrots or any birds someone forwarded these pictures and you can also google them. These kind of flowers are native of Thailand. Ang scientific name is Impatiens psittacina. They call it Rare Thailand Parrot Flower.

These beautiful flowers grown up here...I had in my garden before the first photo, we called it "Calamatis". The fifth one on the photos posted is noted to be poisononous.

I took this pix in Malaysia Botanical Garden. Until now no one has identified this flower for me. It's a thorny vine with no leaves at all. it looks alien to me

Mari, I found the name in Google. It's Cannon Ball Tree Flower and the scientific name is Couroupita guanensis.

"Origin from Tropical South America. It is popular in botanic gardens and a few larger private gardens because of its bizarre fruit. It is a very tall tree which sheds its large, elliptical leaves several times a year. The pinkish-red flowers grow directly from the trunk near the base of the crown and are strongly scented in the evening. Blooms year round. Flowers are followed by large, globular fruit, reddish-brown in colour, which do indeed resemble cannonballs and remain on the tree for many months. On older trees there may be dozens of fruits and flower clusters at the same time."

Kiamoy, sorry i made a mistake..nabinisaya man dili Calamatis- "Clematis" in German word. There are different form and different colors. I had it in my garden before in purple, white and old rose color. I am based in Germany since 29 years but am every year home since yr. 2000.

I am in between the City of Nuremberg and Regensbug, we will transfer in the middle of Aug to the City of Amberg, Oberpfalz (where we both work), it is 2 hours by car to Munich, southern part of Germany (where Oktoberfest yearly occured in the month of September).
