congratulations, fr chic!  more pictures in the coming days, please.

kanang kataposan dinha, kanang refuge of sinners, it brings back poignant memories of my late eldest brother.  he used to give us (my sister and i) surprise visits and noticed that every so often there's someone or other who's on sleepover, usually former college friends who ran away from home or had taken temporary refuge to heal a broken heart.  (funny, even his own daughter ran to us once to escape her quarrel with her mom.) 

my brother took to calling our place "el refugio de los pecadores".  somehow that stuck with me as something to smile about.  oh, that great brother.  i'm missing him again...

hasta ang mga tatay nag-barong diay.  what a way to honor the occasion.  (i happen to be particular about proper attires for occasions.  these are signs of respect, i believe.)  barong-clad, thus, the event is not to be trifled with.

hasta ang mga tatay nag-barong diay.  what a way to honor the occasion.  (i happen to be particular about proper attires for occasions.  these are signs of respect, i believe.)  barong-clad, thus, the event is not to be trifled with.

morag pormag malipayon ang tanan da.  ang pari in his proper attire is beaming, hihihi. 

My long sleeve barong was ready too until my left arm decided to bleed during Mass... hadkang mantsaha sa akong alb and vestment.... so wala nalang ko mag ilis sa akong
see-through nga barong (tailored by President hehehe) kay basin mamantsahan apil. ;D

Last barong na baya nako
Ni kay akong gipanghatag akong mga barong sa mga parishioners who were dying to own one, bahala kunog pang lalaki. Sainz mga manang maoy
nag-ilog sa barong hahaha

angayan man pod. :) makasabot gyod kog baye nga ganahan ug barong kay sihag ug delicate tuod pero lig-on nga panapton.  the magic is in its being not what it seems.

sa europe sa una, lingaw gyod ko kun magpa-dry clean ug barong.  wa koy mahimo kay bisag gi-categorize nako ang barong with polo shirts, sila may magbuot nga blouse, na hala, nakabarato hinoon kog bayad.  uwaw baya palandungon nga mora kog taking advantage pero gitudloan man hinoon ko nga ang ngan kuno sa barong "bluse", kapoy nag lalis.
