Pictures of Guangzhao, China. The ancestral homeland of my great-Lolo Mariano Tan (the father of my Lola Nating; the grandfather of my mommy)  (His Chinese name was Tan Ngai Feiyi) before leaving for the Philippines in 1909.


These pictures were taken by my friend Oi Ling, who graduated 2 years ago and is herself from southern China.
Seeing these pictures, I can imagine my Lolo Mariano walking this streets with his mother and father and siblings. Over a century ago.
