The natural beauty of the Chinese Motherland. I'm sure the Chinese people of the rural hinterland still retain and hold true the notion of kindness, filial harmony, and austerity. Where the superficiality of the city life has yet to corrupt the natural character.

I get hurt when I do read comments and remarks by some Filipinos on Filipino websites that use racial insults and deep generalizations on all Chinese people. I understand that there are differences between the governments of Philippines and China, but, please, let us not generalize the some 1.3 billion Chinese people.

In the bitter game of gepolitics, let us be sober in reading and analyzing the policies on the ground. I hope that the Chinese people find it in their heart to dig deeper than what they read in government newspapers about the Philippines.

May they understand the deep bond between Zhong-guo(China) and Feili-guo(Philippines).

Senior citizens in a Chinese village. Senior citizens are beloved in China. In the local culture, filial piety is still rooted in the Chinese psyche, wherein which it is honorable to show respect and love to one's elders.

This notion of filial piety is actively seen in Filipino culture as well.
