Ralph Waldo Emerson, the great American thinker and philosopher said, "Money which represents the prose of life, is, in its effects and laws , as beautiful as roses". Then at another time, he said. "Money is of no value. It cannot spend itself. All depends on the skill of the spender."

Money is a very important part of our everyday life. In order that there be happiness or contentment in our hearts, it is important that the material things in life be taken into account.

Poverty is the main cause of fear, disappointment, failure and other effects of evil. If we remove poverty, we remove the greatest obstacle to the attainment of the good and full life.

We must learn to think rightly about money.

We must not look upon money itself as power. This is a false premise, and it is apt to lead into thoughts of evil.

WE must remember that all power is in ourselves and that it comes to us through faith, and that it's only source is in our God.

Money in itself is useless. It's only value is in it's ability to do things and it's only means of use is through man.

Hence , if there was no man, money would be useless as the sands of the sea.

We all remember the words of Christ. He said "Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all things shall be added unto you."

Therefore, in our quest for money, we must first place ourselves in a position from which we will attract money.

Let us not think of money at this stage of our education. Let us rather think of ourselves.

As in everything else in life, the rewards come to those who are prepared to receive them.

Therefore, build up your faith. Learn to depend upon Him for all things. Then let things come to you.

You must first become the Master. This state is achieved by becoming one with God. Listen to Him in the silence.

Do not insist that money must be manifested immediately.

Speak in your own words. Talk with God. Tell Him something like the following. "God, do your work. Your way and it will be done satisfactorily unto me."

Poverty is a mental condition. One way of curing this condition is to say. "I want nothing. I need nothing. I possess everything, for I possess faith. By possessing Faith
I possess everything."

Keep repeating this on every possible condition. No matter how hungry, hopeless or alone you may feel. Say. "God is my supply. My supply is endless. Money needs me."

Believe what you say. Feel what you say. Have faith and you shall have results.

The fault in the past has been with you. You have sown the seeds of poverty, by sowing the seeds of denial. The crop of the seed is the result.

Decide to turn over a new leaf. Sow the seeds of faith. A new crop of plenty will be yours.

Sow the right seeds, no matter how black the outlook may seem at the moment.

Pray, repeat the words over and over again. "GOD is my supply. He is infinite. All things belong to Him. I am part of Him. All things belong to me. I possess all."

Change your thinking. You will become a magnet. You will attract the things you need. God knows what you need. He knows all.

Never let go of your trust that Money, or that which it represents will come to you.

Remember you must ask and you shall receive, you must seek and you shall find.

We must at all costs avoid debt. Debt is an evil which distorts our relationship with the infinite.

Someone has said "The soul has only to exercise its drawing power. When the conscious mind lets itself be led or drawn, it will be drawn to what it desires. Desire
is the magnet. Let it have its way. Trust in your own faith and never question. That you desire it is enough. That you desire it is evidence that it already exists
for you. Be passive to the desire, let it do the work. This attitude itself is Success."

Read this over and over again. Read it until you understand exactly what it means. Don't think that you know what it means because you have read it. Get at the core of the
paragraph. Get at the heart of it. Dig. Dig deep into it. And let the lesson be a beacon light that will led you to your desire.

Change your attitude towards money. Do not seek it. Say that it is yours and it will become yours, then let it come to you.

Change your attitude towards money. Welcome its coming and rejoice at its going. It never does its work until it has passed out of your hands. The money you hoard will never do
you or anybody else good. The money you spend in the furtherance of the glory of God is the only money you will ever have. For it is by your experience in spending that you
will grow. In that way you will learn how to spread the blessings. In that way you will help to eradicate the disease of poverty. In that way you can do good.

Change your attitude towards money. Say to money "I do not need you. You need me. You are of no use until and unless I use you. You need me. You will come to me so I can help you."

The money will be just like your thoughts of good. Those that you send out with your blessing will come back to you blessed.

Put the thoughts of success, happiness and health into every cent that passes out to work, through your hands and it will return to you with a new harvest of blessings.

These are some things you must avoid.

I Can't afford it.

If God meant that you were to have it, you would have it.

God can afford all things. The things that are yours will become yours. If in the silence of your communion with God, you shall have received the signs that these things are yours. They will be yours. All you need is faith.

I have spent too much.

You can never spend too much if you spend wisely. If you spend in accordance with God's own laws. You only spend too much when you spend it selfishly, when you spend it thoughtlessly, when you spend it without the guiding hand of God.

I have lost so much.

You have lost nothing, for it was never yours. It was only given to you to pass on to do its work, to do its good, and then come back to you so that you might again pass it on its way to do more work, to do more good.

Remember that the money you have spent is not lost, it is invested, invested in God's own work. You have merely been the agent through whose hands it has passed. The money that you consider lost, is really lost to you, because you think it is lost.

In your communions with God, in the silent privacy of your closet, do not hesitate to ask Him to help you gain these things so that you might pass them on to those who know not the secret of bringing it back to themselves.
