MCIA OPERATIONS MAY RESUME ON TUESDAY
NEWS UPDATE: MCIAA assistant general manager, Atty. Glenn Napuli, said they are doing their best to remove Korean Air flight KE631 from the runway so Mactan airport can resume its regular operations.
Napuli said they are currently removing all fuel out of the overshot Airbus 330. He also said they are hoping to partially open the runway by 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday, October 25.
“We’re hoping matapos today… But we’re still waiting advise from authorities. Rest assured, we’re doing our best to partially resume operations as early as possible,” Napuli said in a mix of Tagalog, Cebuano and English. | via Morexette Marie Erram #CDNDigital
