Amanpulo Resort is owned by Seven Seas Resorts and Leisure, Inc. and Aman Resorts, with majority ownership held by ANSCOR (A. Soriano Corporation)43dcd9a7-70db-4a1f-b0ae-981daa162054. Because Philippine law restricts full foreign ownership of businesses, ANSCOR—a Filipino company—maintains the controlling stake.


The name “Amanpulo” blends Aman (Sanskrit for “peace”) and pulo (Tagalog for “island”), perfectly capturing the resort’s serene island setting on Pamalican Island in Palawan.
