CHINA AIRLINES NOW FLIES FROM CEBU TO TAIPEI!
We were pleased to welcome China Airlines’ inaugural fight from Taipei to Cebu today, December 1, 2022.
A water cannon salute greeted Flight CI706 with around 120 passengers as it touched down at MCIA at around 11:18 a.m. on Thursday morning.
We also sent off the departing passengers of the Flight CI705 from Cebu through a cake-cutting ceremony, with our partners from Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority, Department of Tourism 7, and other airport stakeholders.
China Airlines Manila Branch’ entry to Cebu marks our strengthened efforts to push for more leisure demand to and out of Cebu.
Taiwan’s state-owned flag carrier now flies four times weekly every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday using its Airbus A321neo aircraft with 180-seat capacity and a two-class configuration.
