Press Release: A team from the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Panglao poses at the booth of the Municipality of Panglao on the occasion of the 7th International Travel Festival.
The festival, which started today until February 20, 2022, is held at the Ayala Center Cebu.
With the theme, It's Time to Travel, several exhibitors from travel agencies, tourism stakeholders to different LGU's, which are into tourism enterprises, put up their respective booths to showcase the features and benefits of their tourism products.
The organizers of this Travel Festival boldly conduct this activity as people in the tourism industry are now seeing positive signs of hope and cautious enthusiasm in the business as vaccination programs continue to roll out here and abroad. Several destinations are opening up already.
A big part of the entire players of the industry is now busy preparing for their recovery plans under the new normal and excitedly finding ways to re-engage their potential clients.
They find this early post-pandemic phase extremely crucial as they seek to understand the new trends in consumer behavior to test their marketing strategies with all the pent-up travel demands.
This Travel Festival occupies the Activity Center, Rotunda, Paseo Solana, Paseo Marina, and the Gallery sections of Ayala Center, Cebu.
The organizers further believe that this activity promises to be a primary step towards the direction of the industry's road to recovery. They say that the future depends on what they do today, and they are excited to ride with the exhibitors on this wave.
