It is often complicated to smile or be happy when things are not the way you want them to be.

Being sick with lupus made me understand that my illness should not beat me and I never lose hope that no matter how much pain Iâ€™m in right now God is doing something for my situation and it is always for the best.
Life is too short and we ...should always squeeze every moment we can have to be happy because everything that happens in our lives is a lesson we must learn and indulge.

The person I used to be became a lonesome individual now..
Itâ€™s really hard to smile or be happy when things are not the way you want them to be.
But life must go on. God has given me this second chanceâ€¦... and I have to make things right and determined. I want everyone will be happy and benefited with everything I have done. Life is really too short, we have only nominal interlude to do good for everyone, so every second counts.

When you are facing such difficulty in your life and there seems to be no way out, what do you do?

When God seems silent and distant and you feel like youâ€™re all alone.. Many times I feel that way but Iâ€™m trying to keep the faith and rely on Godâ€™s promises..
He repeatedly promised

â€œWhoever goes to the lord for safety, whoever remains under the protection of the Almighty can say to Him,
â€œyou are my defender, and protector.
You are my God, in you I trustâ€.
He will keep you safe from all hidden dangers and
from all deadly debases.Psalm 91:1-3

Dear Beautiful,

There is no impossibility for God, so always put your trust in Him who has the power to change what is unchangeable, and direct us to the paths He has chosen for us all according to His Good Purpose.

This reminds me of a message a good friend of mine, Fr. Ranulfo Ganido, our medical chaplain. In his message during that particular mass, he emphasized the importance in our ability to carry our own innate crosses that the Lord places on us. He said something that was rather poignant--that these difficulties are not made or placed in us to break us, but rather, are placed to test us, and to steer us towards a strong relationship with our God. I think there is great truth in this, personally.

First and foremost, please know that we are thinking and praying for you. We love you, abundantly. And that you can always turn to us here in Tubag Bohol Dot Com , as our arms will always be open wide. A brother or sister in pain should not have to worry in suffering being alone, but should know that he is cared for. That said, Elsie, I know that no matter what we say, in the end, this personal trial requires your own patience, your own strength to bear with the pain that we are placed in. But I want you to know that no matter what, whether we be in good health, or in bad health, always always hold on to that which is beautiful. It is your faith in God.

Strength during times of trouble and during times of tests is what consolidates our faith. We are reminded that Faith is tested in fire.

Romans 8: 18, "For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us."

I really canâ€™t help it. My emotions are fluctuating.. sometimes Iâ€™m feelin happy, sometimes I feel blue, sometimes I feel scared basta lahi-lahiâ€¦
With all these Iâ€™m hanging with God always.. but I canâ€™t help it but asked God oftentimes â€œwhy me?â€ and â€œwhy now?â€ I often tell you I am fine, I am good.. anyway.. yes! Its true, Im always ok and good. But I really feel sometimes emotionalâ€¦ denial.. rejected.. uselessâ€¦ I think being emo is normal in my situationâ€¦ that is why TB play a big role in my recoveryâ€¦ I expressed here everything I feelâ€¦ thank you so much for the chanceâ€¦ Bran, donâ€™t you worry about meâ€¦ as I always say â€œI am a fighterâ€ so donâ€™t yah worry ur lil sissy Im in good handsâ€¦
