Trust is a very important factor for all relationships
« on: July 02, 2009, 02:35:17 PM »
TRUST is a very important factor for all relationships. When trust is broken, it is the end of the relationship. Lack of trust leads to suspicion, suspicion generates anger, anger causes enmity and enmity may result in separation.

A female telephone operator received a phone call one day. She answered, "Public Utilities Board." There was silence. She repeated, "PUB." There was still no answer. When she was going to cut off the line, she heard a lady's voice, "Oh, so this is PUB.Sorry, I got the number from my husband's pocket but I do not know whose number it is."

Without mutual trust, just imagine what will happen to the couple if the telephone operator answered with just "hello" instead of "PUB".

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

So true. It goes for a love relationship; or even friendship.

What kind of friend would talk ill about another behind their back?
Or allow another individual to talk ill about a friend?
And knowing that the friend is being hurt and yet still do nothing about it?

Or a lover, partner, cheating and deploring his or her wedding oaths?

Lack of Trust.
Lack of Abstinancy.

It is very hard to rebuild back the trust that was given to someone sincerely then you will discover that the person you trusted most is the very person who hurts you from behind. If you want to be trusted again, show to the person even if she don't believe you anymore, maybe trust will come back slowly.

I agree with this statement. For me, Trust, is a one-time issue. It is either you can be credible and be trusted, or you cannot. A friend is a true friend, one who will be with you--a close and personal confidant.

People who act like friends, but actually betray their 'friends', talking behind their friends, and allowing others to harm the people who considered them as 'friends' are not real friends.

That is not friendship.

That is a destructive relationship.

The Holy Bible tells us to stay away from people like that. Wolves in Sheeps Clothing.

Nothing positive comes from relationship like that. What kind of friendship are we to acquire from people who are that shallow? To be nice to your frace--but when given the chance, will stab you in the back?

Stick to the REAL friends. Not the fake ones.

As I said, trust, is a One-Time Issue.

I may forgive you for the things you say or do. But I will never be able to trust you after betraying my Trust.

Simple. As. That.
