The 7 Hours of Silence (Shutting Down of Tubag Bohol)

This is the copy of the Notice we posted when we temporarily shut down Tubag Bohol in honor of Jez's family.

Tubag Bohol is temporarily closed. We will resume 7 hours later (2 a.m. Philippine time). This is to honor and in memory of Jez's father and a cousin who perished in a tragic car accident in Bohol. Jez's mother, brother, sister-in-law and another cousin are still in Ramiro Hospital. Let us rest from browsing Tubag Bohol and spend some time reflecting on life in eternity and more so on praying earnestly for Jez family that God may pour out more of His love and grace to all of them who are in deep sorrow and grief these days. God bless us all.

From now on, The 7 Hours of Silence will always be practiced in Tubag Bohol's lifestyle. Let's all pray that we'll all be prepared to face life's darkest moments one day...

Mike, I commend you because I thought that was really a good idea to offer a 7-hour silence in respect to Jez's family who are suffering right now.

Shutting down a forum site to pay tribute to our departed ones may not be a practice in other websites. We wish to set an example so that those who may come after us would do the same thing when life's deepest pain grips on someone's soul.

The death of my father has taught me to be more sensitive on the pains, sorrows, and struggles of my neighbors, friends, and fellow humans.

Hi Belle,

Especially that we can't be with Jez physically. We are all scattered in many corners of the globe. Even in this way we can somehow let Jez and those who are grieving with him that we feel their pains and we are reaching out to them though they can't hold our hands and feel our embrace.

I totally agree and I like this idea when Tubag Bohol was shut unexpectedly Monday and at the same time Jez was crying and needed comfort for what happen to his family and that I thought, Oh my God, nag-unong ang Tubag Bohol ni Jez and his family. Nanglibawot jud ako balahibo adtong Monday.

Mike, anus-a gani i-start ug shut down ang TB? Did I miss to read something? Kabalo ko anus-a i-resume.
