Sometimes it can be harder for us to forgive ourselves, than for God to forgive us. No matter we’ve done, Christ came to save us, not condemn us. Through Jesus, we can have everlasting life, and we can start or continue that journey today. So as we go through our day let us try and keep the following quote from St. Cyril of Jerusalem in mind:
“The Lord is loving unto man, and swift to pardon, but slow to punish. Let no man therefore despair of his own salvation."
