We are told:"But one thing I do: forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus" -
Philippians 3:14---
But what does that mean?
What does Christ mean to tell us in that Scriptural Dosage?
Its simple: Rise Up, Dust Away Your Sins, Move On.
No one, none of us is free from sin.
I myself, am a sinner--Christ knows it. The same goes for you, brothers and sisters. Surely none of us is born perfect, aside from Christ Our Lord. But that is the beauty and humility of being human, isn't it? That throughout the continuum of God's creations, in the heavens or in all the Earth--it is Man--that is born with sin, innately mandated to sin for temptation abounds before us. Yet in our own transgressions and daily predilictions, we are nonetheless strengthened and provided for by the Word that is in Christ and in His Ministry that He has passed down from age to age. We are reminded by the lives of Paul, Matthew, Peter, Mark, John, and Timothy that they all too were sinners, but it was in their relation to Christ that they were purified.
Paul, who is one of my favorite Apostles bears this to mind---with his own reference of his life prior to his conversion into Christianity. His role in the death of Stephen, one of the earliest martyrs for Christ. Sauls conversion to Paul --is a beautiful one, which perfectly correlates with the scriptural verse that I provided. We are reminded, that by our faith, and by our prayer for forgiveness, we are forgiven. Which is mandated and provided for by our Faith in Christ Jesus, who ALONE is mighty to save. And who is ALONE Savior. And who ALONE is Judge. By the Authority HE has from the Father.
Reading this verse in scripture, as I sit here in the medical lounge, reading notes, I am deigned speak and reiterate that we are reminded that what we did in the past is the past. What was wrong was wrong. Sure, it may have been sin, so long as we acknowledge that it was sin, and not deny it. And we for consolation, it will be given. Christ told us, that if we ask it of His Name he shall give it.
So it permeates my own understanding and my own weakness and my own limited capacity of completely undersanding all of Scripture and of the TRUEness and WISDOM that comes from the Mouth of The LORD GOD ON HIGH, but by HIS grace, we are able to take part of his Truth.
We are reminded, that the past is the past. The sins of the past was the past. Our past is dead, and we are born again in Christ Jesus. Christ Forgives, so that we should move on. To claim the prize, which is Heavenbound. To which Christ calls us to.

So rise up, and move on. Don't linger on what was, 'what could have been', 'what i could have done'. But focus on what 'is possible'.
Focus on 'the Potential'. The future--to which you---by Grace of Jesus Christ---can accomplish.
Claim the Goal.
Glorify Jesus Christ through your goodness.
