How long, O Lord? Will You forget me forever? How long will You hide Your face from me? â€”Psalm 13:1

My friends Bob and Delores understand what it means to wait for answersâ€”answers that never seem to come. When their son Jason and future daughter-in-law Lindsay were murdered in August 2004, a national manhunt was undertaken to find the killer and bring him to justice. After 2 years of prayer and pursuit, there were still no tangible answers to the painful questions the two hurting families wrestled with. There was only silence.

In such times, we are vulnerable to wrong assumptions and conclusions about life, about God, and about prayer. In Psalm 13, David wrestled with the problem of unanswered prayer. He questioned why the world was so dangerous and pleaded for answers from God.

Itâ€™s a hard psalm that David sang, and it seems to be one of frustration. Yet, in the end, his doubts and fears turned to trust. Why? Because the circumstances of our struggles cannot diminish the character of God and His care for His children. In verse 5, David turned a corner. From his heart he prayed, â€œBut I have trusted in Your mercy; my heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.â€

I always believe that God answers our prayers in 3 ways.. YES, NO and WAIT.
YES, he gave it to us right away...
NO, its not the right one for us and there's something better and he has something better plan for us.
WAIT, we have to wait for the right time, but until when? That we don't know, only God knows in his time and in his own way

We have to show that we are worthy of what we are asking for.

exactly! it took me a lot of years to pray for a partner in life. im now 38 and i got married two years ago. it was worth the wait because God gave me a God-fearing belgian poet. it was beyond my dreams to live in a foreign land. GOD IS ALWAYS GOOD to those who pray patiently!

really?i am now turning 30 and patiently waiting for the right guy to come,been praying it to the Lord,and i know he will answered when the right time comes..congratulation diay!

People sometimes are losing their hope in looking for a lifetime partner. But, they should thought of God's eligibility of making their dreams come true if they will have the patience to wait for it. You are lucky to have your dreams because you have waited.

I will wait for the Lord's answer. I will wait all day , all night for His command. For waiting in the Lord is never a waste, time is well spent.

The Lord strengthens me, He encourages me when I am in need, and invigorates me anew. For a thousand years to Him is like a second to us.

I shall wait in the Lord..who is my strength and the rock in whom I stand.

Keep on praying, and keep on waiting. The LORD is always GOOD, and His answer will come (it always comes), but in accordance to His own good and perfect pleasing Will.

Wait on the LORD. Happy is a man who Waits on his God Almighty. Let your faith overflow. The Lord loves a patient and enduring man/ woman.

Keep the faith, keep on praying, I promise you this, your prayers are heard. And they will be answered...according to His Will.....
