Finding Your Inner Strength
The Christian Perspective
by: A. Lorenzo Lucino Jr
One lives life thinking that there are obstacles confronting us and preventing our acquisition of an intended goal; many can conclude and even name these obstacles as: individuals, economic predicaments, political restrictions, intellectual limitations etc, the list seems to go on right?
One lives life constantly under the eyes of others, and one becomes consumed by this perception of trying to beat all others, but in this personal search to self-conceived perfection, one realizes that -- in the end, one looses something. It is the result of bargaining for perfection in any field, especially when one takes advantage of others to attain a goal, or sacrifices a relationship with a loved one, as well as family to attain a pedestal of a position, a work ranking, a job abroad, whatsoever it may be. There are losses, that is the sad point.
However, have you ever thought to yourself that--what if there really was no need to sacrifice family, what if success and feasibility are intertwined and depended on one thing: Your own self realization. Yes, what if you noticed that the problem that one had previously contributed to others and objects, really and truly was one's own self lacking one pivotal factor: FAITH.
One refers to a verse in scripture, which reminds us of the importance of faith in Jesus Christ as the source of success. In this day in age, where faith is challenged, where mental and spiritual strengths are attacked as one fights to survive in life. We are reminded by this message in the bible that personal strength and enlightenment depends on a relationship with the Almighty Lord God in Heaven. It is when we entrust our plans and our ways to the Lord that one receives blessings to accomplish the said task. We are reminded this time and time again in specific verses in the Holy Bible:
1.
In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight. [Proverbs 3: 6]
2.
Commit your works to the LORD And your plans will Succeed. [Proverbs 16:3]When one realizes that he or she cannot do it alone, when one entrusts the burden of plans, of special appointments, of crucial moments in life to the brilliance and Wisdom of the Lord, one is inspired to complete what others would consider 'Impossible'. It is the beauty of a moving faith, it is the realization of the self and relation to Jesus Christ.
That He works through you, for you have been purchased at a price.
Do good and may your works glorify Your Father In Heaven.
In the end, that is what counts the most. Linkback:
