A close friend of our family sent a forwarded message that tells semantic reasons why women cry.
The story was all about a little who boy asked his mother why she’s crying. The mother told her son, “Because I’m a woman.†The boy, not satisfied with her mother’s answer went to his father and asked him, “Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?†His father replied. “All women cry for no reason.â€
I read so much about stories and articles trying to explain countless reasons why women cry. There are those who say that women cry because of biological reason while there are those claiming that women are using it to gain psychological advantage over their men. For me, I'm fortunate of having a wife who cries easily because I knew that she would bear all things and together, we will go over all these things no matter what, against all odds, through thick and thin and come hell or high water. She cries with me as well during my lowest of all lows sharing my pains and sometimes taking it away from me so as to make feel comfortable. We cried together not to show our vulnerability or weaknesses but to accept our constant need of God's help and only through Him that we surrender everything.
To all the husbands, I tell you how fortunate you are for having wives who cry. Surely, you knew that you have a spouse that will always be with you, behind you right or wrong. A wife who tries to hold on and on till eternity. Though I pray that your wife's tears will not run dry or her heart turns to stone for one day, you will wake up to find out that it is all over.
