In July, 1961, Field Marshal Douglas MacArthur made a Sentimental Journey back to the Philippines. Here he’s shown in Cebu visiting former President Sergio Osmeña (September 9, 1878 – October 19, 1961). Three months later, the former president passed away, on the eve of the anniversary of his and MacArthur’s famous Leyte Landing.
