Its' amazing how lineage and monarchy is a sepository of not only culture, but history, tradition and a way of life.

His Majesty King Juan Carlos was correct in his message, "La Oficina del Rey es importante por los Espanoles, por el commun, por historia, por tradicion, y cultura. Viva Espana!"

Imagine, he is the direct descendent, by blood, to King Philip II the Great.
The man that our nation and our people are named after by Magellan in 1521. Some 500 years before.

The message is clear, and empowering. History, tradition, community, and culture, indeed, is important for any nation's future. For without the past, there is no direction to the future.
