The Jurchens were a federation of non-Chinese #tribes from northeast Manchuria that had a strong influence on the evolution of China. The Wanyan clan successfully united the Jurchen tribes and they conquered northern #China and founded the Jin Dynasty. The Jin #dynasty fell to the #Mongols, however the Jurchen people became known as the Manchus who succeeded in conquering the whole of China.
