i'm confused now. i also came across an article claiming that brown rice has more glucose content than white rice (the long-grained kind, except jasmin), red rice is the best, and rice in general is better than wheat and potato. it's beginning to sound like the pros and cons of vitsin (msg) that used to flip-flop for a decade.
LoL. If you look at the back of the product (Nutrition facts) you're very right, brown rice has more sugar content than the white counterpart... but for some reason most claims (or so-called experts) claim otherwise. But being diabetic and having to monitor such food-type, since 1998, yes, I tend to agree with their claim.
