Water, The Natural Detox
« on: May 23, 2008, 05:35:23 AM »
Despite what commercial adds say, despite what friends say, talking about taking these 'dietary pills', 'wonder drugs' etc etc. Don't ever take chemically-induced detox drugs. Especially things that are still yet to be approved by the FDA. There are hundreds of destructive over-the-counter drugs that claim to be good for you, but are, in reality, destructive to internal homeostasis.

To stay healthy, always drink water. Cease the carbon-based drinks. A nice cold glass of H20 will not only fill your stomach when you're thirsty after a nice day's jog, but will detoxify your body. It will flush out all the toxic contaminants in your body that are taken in by cigarette smoke, hazardous foods, etc. Water will help flush out your urinary glands and clean the urethra. Water will hydrolize your edrenal glands, will reinvigorate your epidermal tissues, your internal visceri. It will clean your stomach, your intestines, your liver, your nephrological system.

Water, unlike all these hazardous 'energy drinks' (dopamine in a can; red bull, etc) is not nephro-toxic.

So remember, don't forget to drink 3 cups of nice, pure, clean water. Especially in this summer season, for those who will be doing alot of yard work and will be exposed to sweating, it is essential to drink alot of water. In order to retain and maintain internal homeostasis and prevent dehydration.

Drink Water! Stay Healthy!

 ;D

The drinking habits of the youth is a concern. Many youth are drinking coke, pepsi, sprite etc as a 'thirst quencher'. Alas, it is not!

Carbon-based drinks such as coke, pepsi, sprite are diuretics, which are responsible for inducing release of water through the urethra. Thus it causes dehydration. Carbon-based drinks have caffeine and caffeine is a prime source of diuretics.

So instead of drinking coke, pepsi, etc etc. Drink Water!

Water is not a diuretic, it is not nephro-toxic as well. On the contrary it cleans the entire system. And rejuvinates it. It is the natural anti-oxidant.

Drink Water! Bottoms Up!

;)

Water intoxication, also known as water poisoning, is a potentially fatal disturbance in brain functions that results when the normal balance of electrolytes in the body is pushed outside of safe limits (e.g., hyponatremia) by overhydration, i.e., over-consumption of water.

Under normal circumstances, accidentally consuming too much water is exceptionally rare. Nearly all deaths related to water intoxication in normal individuals have resulted either from water drinking contests in which individuals attempt to consume large amounts of water, or long bouts of intensive exercise during which electrolytes are not properly replenished, yet excessive amounts of fluid are still consumed.

Water, just like any other substance, can be considered a poison when over-consumed in a specific period of time. Water intoxication mostly occurs when water is being consumed at a high quantity without giving the body its proper nutrients it needs to be healthy. --Wiki

You got it another ad about how this system will help you lose weight and oh, this one says it is natural (and you don't have to change your habits with this one either).
