Sea Hares Secretion Commonly Known as Lukot in Visayan

Share your recipe here. Lukot is not poop from sea cucumber but it's a secretion from Sea hare or donsol. . Unbeknownst to everybody Lukot can be sun dried aw paajaayan and stay fresh after many years in your storage or pantry. No I never even think about storing  my Lukot(sea hare secretion) in the fridge. Lukot nga gipanglukot nako sa among isla sa Pangangan unya diri sa sa America nako gikilaw after almost 2 years gikan pagdala.  Just soak the dried Lukot in fresh cold water mga 30 minutes or more.



Kinilaw nga Lukot Sea hare salad
2 cups lukot sea hare secrecation
ginger
vinegar(spice sukang pinakurat)
shallot
onions
tomatoes
Mix together and serve with rice.

Sea Hare secration in Coconut Milk.



2 cups coconut milk
lemon grass
ginger
onions
cooking oil
garlic.

Heat cooking oil. Add the garlic and onions.Then add the lukot. Mix and add coconut milk,giner and lemon grass. Salt and pepper to taste. Yummy

Sea Hare secration in Coconut Milk.



2 cups coconut milk
lemon grass
ginger
onions
cooking oil

Heat cooking oil. Add the garlic and onions.Then add the lukot. Mix and add coconut milk,giner and lemon grass. Salt and pepper to taste. Yummy

Kahinumdom ko sauna sa Negros man tingali to. Nikaon ko sa carenderia og tinuwang isda nga naay lukot unya nangayo kog extrang lukot kay kini laging laog tag lukot. Gibalibaran ko mao nga niingon ko ako lang bayran ang extrang lukot. Wa mosugot ang tindera kay niya pa ang kada hiwa sa isda naay pares nga lukot. Sakto pud...

Pero kung asa man nga bahin, secretion o eggs, lami gihapon ning lukot!

Saun manginhas mi naay gibawon nga suka. Ug makakita ug lukot dajung hugas sa dagat aron mangtaktak tong mga bonbon unja dajung paboboan ug suka, lamoy! Hehehe. Lami pud ni paresan ug bahaaw.

Ang guso(seaweeds) Dre katong murag mga sanga ra siya nga green unya crunchy. Ang Lato kay katong murag grapes nga daghan linging lingin. Kanang naa sa imong picture member na sa family sa lato ang local name ana Homhom duha ang kalainan sa homhom ug sa lato. Ang lato makuha na nimo sa deep part sa ocean unya ang homhom mostly naa na naggrow sa shallow water sa may katungganan or kung asa dapit ang kalapukan sa katunggan naa pud ning homhom. Nganong sweto ko ani kay permi ko manginhas sa una hehehe.
