Please note:
For patients who are suffering from major clinical depression , depressive moods, and are taking SSRIs (Fluoxetine, Paroxetine, Sertraline, Citalopram) for their condition, please AVOID the abrupt cessation of drugs.
Abrupt cessation of SSRIs can lead to --- > SSRI Withdrawal Syndrome: Dizziness, Nausea, Fatigue, Muscle Aches, Anxiety, Irritability, Severe Suicidal Ideation and Suicidal Attempt !!
It is important to gradually taper your SSRI down and avoid abrupt cessation.
Talk to your DOCTOR (PSYCHIATRIST/NEUROLOGIST/FAMILY MEDICINE) about prescribing you long-acting SSRIs and then gradually tapering it down , in order to AVOID SSRI Withdrawal Syndrome.
