This video is not much escabeche (home-made sweet and sour) than kinamatisan (tagalog's salciado, i.e., with scrambled eggs). I think my mom made some adaptation whenever she cooked for us when we were kids... labi na kay 10 mi kabuok mga anak, mas daghan ug sabaw hehehe.
Father, I did not know there your parents had 10 kids! Wow! I bet your mom cooked the escabeche really good eh?
My dad makes a pretty awesome escabeche too, it tastes just like the ones that his mom used to make.
