On February 22, Christchurch, New Zealand suffered a devastating earthquake. In addition to killing at least 166 people, the earthquake caused extensive damage and left many people in need of assistance. Many were left homeless and more are still without power.
Matt Peterson, president and CEO of Global Green and senior fellow of New Zealand-based Sir Edmund Hillary Institute, is raising funds to provide both immediate and long-term assistance to victims in Christchurch, with needs such as solar and crank flashlights and help with green building plans.
One way to support Matt’s efforts is by buying wine! All of the profits from the “6 Bottles of Christchurch†package — from eco.love wines — are donated to Matt’s efforts with Global Green and Sir Edmond Hillary Institute. Included in the wine package are four bottles of delicious eco.love Sauvignon Blanc and two bottles of Riesling, all of which come from the first caboNZero Certified winery in the world. They may be the least guilty and most rewarding bottles of wine you ever buy!
