We felt morally bound to donate during these tough times," states Dr. Andrew Wolfe of the Center for Cosmetic Surgery. His practice, co-owned by Dr. Steven Vath and Dr. Paul Steinwald recently donated PPE (personal protective equipment) to be used in the hospital. The donation, which consisted of gloves and surgical masks, was given directly to Dr. Brian Wickham, of Physician Anesthesia Services (PAS). PAS partners with Center for Cosmetic Surgery to provide anesthesia at their Golden, CO surgical facility.
In an email to the Center, Dr. Wickham writes, "I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to your team for providing the supplies to protect PAS and our patients. The bountiful load of 1200 surgical masks and 1800 gloves went into immediate use.
"It has always been apparent to over the years of working together that the team at CCS shares the same philosophy as PAS of providing the highest level of care and compassion for our patients. I am honored to have this relationship."
