The Massachusetts Medical Device Industry Council (MassMEDIC) encourages medtech startup founders and CEOs to apply to the MedTech IGNITE program’s 2020 IGNITE Cohort. The MedTech IGNITE Program is a virtual accelerator offering an experiential training, mentorship and networking curriculum to attract and nurture the next generation of medtech founders and entrepreneurs. IGNITE Cohort members get access to medtech, financial, business and legal experts and advisors to help them succeed.
IGNITE was relaunched in 2019 with a cohort of 16 companies and support from a grant from the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center. The 2019 Cohort includes MassChallenge winner Azadeh Khanicheh of Envision Endoscopy and BRIght Future Prize winner Natalie Artzi of BioDevek. Seven of the 16 founders in the 2019 Cohort founders were women
