Larchmont Dental Associates would like to update its patients on changes due to COVID-19, Coronavirus.
Dr. Michael A. Kezian’s Dental office is making significant changes to respond to the Coronavirus pandemic. What does this mean to our patients? We have already made efforts to strengthen infection control methods. Now to maintain consistency with American Dental Association and US government guidelines, our dental office will only be providing emergency dental services and will restrict treatment of non-vital procedures. In these difficult times, it is important to seek treatment for dental emergencies. A dental emergency include situations which can be very painful and/or potentially life threatening. What should patients consider an emergency? Cases where our dental services will still be offered will be in the events of infections, abscesses, tooth sensitivity, and patients in need of root canal procedures. Urgent dental emergencies also include bleeding that doesn’t stop, loose and knocked out permanent teeth, an injured or dislocated jaw, painful swelling, and a painful toothache that disrupts sleeping or even daily function.
In order to limit the transfer of the disease and ensure the protection of our community, we are taking these strong resolutions. Dr. Kezian is committed to the welfare of both his patients and the safety of the community he is a part of. We are also staying accessible to our patients in the cases of emergency dental care so that we do not burden the already overworked hospital medical system.
