Apple on Tuesday updated its computer products lineup with the launch of new notebook and desktop models.
At a press event held at San Jose in California, Apple introduced a new 13-inch MacBook Pro notebook computer with the high-resolution Retina display.
The new notebook is lighter and thinner than its previous generation, Apple executive said.
The company also announced new all-in-one iMac desktop computer and new version of Mac mini, a small desktop computer shipped without a display.
Apple is widely expected to unveil a smaller version of its iPad tablet computer at the ongoing event.
