Bohol Governor Art Yap graced the Blessing and Launching of the Telephone and Radio System Integrated Emergency Response (Tarsier 117) Talibon Substation
"I Want to proudly say that if you visit Bohol we can save your lives", Yap said as he emphasized the importance of the emergency response unit.
Aside from this, Gov. Yap gave an order to the chief of hospitals to give advice on rural health programs as well as the increase in the salaries of our doctors and nurses. He informed everyone of the continuous modernization of hospitals which will continue for another round next year. He also said that all hospitals must not be the same and to build more trauma centers.
Gov. Yap also announced further expansion of the Tarsier 117.
The new substation in Talibon which is the 6th Tarsier substation in the province is going to cater to 4 towns with 22 newly trained emergency responders.
Mark Sidney Galia (Tarsier 117 Head), Anthony Damalerio (PDRRM Officer), Dr. Miguelito Jayoma (Chf of Hospital), Fr. Jun Gumapac, Normie Valmoria(Kgwd), Jett Boyles (Municipal Administrator), and Bobbith Cajes-Auza (Chf of Staff) also attended the event.
