WHAT : Reckless Imprudence Resulting to Damage of Property;
2. WHERE : National Road, Pondol, Loon, Bohol;
3. WHEN : OOA 11:30 AM of October 17, 2019 (Thursday);
4. WHO : Vehicle -A: Toyota Avanza E A/T Wagon, with plate no. VFR 814, owned by Nicandro Torreon y Lafuente, 45 years old (DOB Nov. 7, 1973) male, married, resident of Moto Norte, Loon, Bohol;
Damages: Rear portion- Totally damage.
Vehicle- B: Xiamen Kinglong, Southern Star Bus Transport INC., with body no. 12403, plate no. 1312- 384170, driven by Marieo Ilaga y Gamutan, 37 years old ( 08/15/1982) male, married, resident of Lundag, Pilar, Bohol, holder of Prof. Driver’s license no. D16-05-005743.
Damages: Front Bumper- Dented and cracked.
5. HOW/WHY: A cellphone call was received by Loon Police Station from a concern citizen informing that a vehicular traffic accident transpired at the above-mentioned place. Initial investigation was conducted by the responding PNP personnel disclosed that the Southern Star Bus Transport was travelling from Tagbilaran City heading towards Tubigon and upon reaching at the place of occurrence, the bus driver unable to manage and control of his driven bus thereby bumped on a parked vehicle (Toyota Avanza). Per alleged by the driver, when he apply a brake to stop and unload a passenger at roadside, the bus engine was suddenly turned off which caused malfunction of the steering wheel. As a consequence, due to its impact both vehicles incurred damages. The southern star bus was brought to Loon Police Station for proper disposition.
