Robbery suspects in Bohol arrested

THREE 'ROBBERS' FALL IN POLICE OPERATION

Tagbilaran City, Bohol - Another three alleged robbers responsible in recent armed robbery in a second district town were arrested by Bohol police led by Acting Provincial Director Police Colonel Jonathan Cabal.

Elements of Danao Municipal Police Station led by Police Captain Rex Ibanez, chief of police has arrested Sunday suspect identified as Robin Celis, 23 years old, married and a resident of Sitio Boho, San Jose, Inabanga, Bohol.

Danao police identified the suspect as perpetrator of a armed robbery incident in barangay Taming, Danao last November 7, 2019 victimizing a lending agent of ASA Philippines Foundation Corporation Micro Finance based in the municipality.

In a hot pursuit operation and follow-up operation by Danao police and Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB) led by Police Captain Gereon Item yielded two additional suspects arrested.

Police Captain Item identified the suspect as Marjun Mesa, 35 years old, married, vendor and a resident of Sitio Bojo, San Jose, Inabanga and Mark John Anthony Ramos, 22 years old, with live in partner, jobless and a resident of Purok 6, Nahawan, Clarin.

Suspect Marjun Mesa was arrested at residence at Sitio Bojo, San Jose, Inabanga.

Police identified Mesa as one of the suspects of a robbery incident and was the look out of the armed robbery.

Bohol police also arrested another suspect Mark John Anthony Ramos at his residence and identified cohort with Robin Celis who took away and carted away the cash money which was place on the table during the robbery.

Recovered from the suspects were one unit caliber .45 pistol loaded with five ammunitions and one empty steel magazine and one Suzuki motorcyle serving as gateway vehicle owned by suspect Mark John Anthony Ramos.

Bohol police also recovered one unit Oppo cellphone A83 which was taken by the robbers and thrown away in a bushy area near Cabaldo River at Sitio Bojo, San Jose, Inabanga.

The suspects are detained at Danao Police Station and robbery cases were charged against them.
