The preliminary investigation of the highway robbery case in Sierra Bullones town is set tomorrow at the Provincial Prosecutors Office, this city.
Police identified the suspect as Matias Bactasa, alias Dondon and Tamolo, a resident of Brgy. Aurora, Pilar town. He was positively identified by PO3 Georgie Sarabosing as among the suspects in the robbery victimizing six Japanese students who were on board a coaster en route to barangay Nan-od, Sierra Bullones town last Sept. 29.
The suspect together with two others blocked their way and pointed handgun towards the driver and passengers. Carted away by the suspects were cellular phones, four digital cameras, watches and wallets. The suspects boarded their black Yamaha DT motorcycle towards barangay Matin-ao.
The suspect was also identified by Bernado Tiongco, driver of Mountain Eagle bus who saw him board the black Yamaha DT motorcycle few minutes before the incident.
