PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT OF BOHOL GIVES INCENTIVES TO EMPLOYEES.

Bohol Governor Art Yap and Vice-Governor Rene Relampagos went office to office in the Capitol to hand over the rice and Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) bonus to employees.

In October, the Provincial Government led by Yap and Relampagos signed the renewal of the CNA  with the Bohol Provincial Employees League (BOPEL) which ensures continued provision of employee incentives.

Since the incentive is given just in time for the holiday season, Gov. Art couldn’t imagine the fact that employees might not enjoy the incentive this year. This prompted him to talk to the Vice-Governor and endorse to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan the renewal of the agreement so that every qualified employee in the province continues to receive the P25,000 bonus.

Aside from that, Governor Yap gave 8 kilos rice to every employee, the same way that he gave to every Bol-anon household, as he wants the employees to enjoy what the rest of the Bol-anons have enjoyed.

This is another unprecedented move from a governor, a first just as his administration was first to massively provide interventions such as development funds for all barangays and for all municipalities.

"Charity begins at home", Yap said.

Further, the governor announced more "first times" as he informed the employees the approval of the health card which allows them additional health benefits worth P75,000 per year.

It can be used by every employee, their spouse, spouse or child/children for hospitalization or even outpatient treatment.

Yap also announced the first phase of the housing project of the provincial government located in Cortes which will benefit 300 capitol employees with each lot at 300 square meters.

"I only ask you one thing in return. And that is to improve our service to our fellow Boholanos", Yap said as he urged the employees to give more dedication to their work.
