The city's premiere and most-modern shopping center, Plaza Marcela gears up for the Back-to-School season with a big sale, dubbed as "Tabo sa Plaza Marcela." Up to 50% discounts are given away on great selections at the Home & Fashion Department, which run from May 31 to June 5, 2010.

With the opening of classes by June, people from all walks of life troop the department stores to buy school bags, shoes, and sets of school uniforms; and at Plaza Marcela, one can choose and pick from the widest array of school supplies sold at very low prices.

In the "Bags & Shoes Madness" promo, from June 1 to July 31, 2010, at Plaza Marcela, Alturas Supermarket, Island City Mall, and Alturas-Talibon, a 10% discount is given on all regular items on some of the best leading brands of shoes and bags like Michaela, Heartstrings, Cose, Burgundy, Rusty Lopez, Gibi, Manels, Secosana, and Shoes Unlimited.

A 50% discount is also given on all markdown items of Secosana and Shoes Unlimited, plus a free handbag for every purchase of three pairs of Soda Sandal.
         
Meanwhile, affordable school supplies are now available at the School and Office Supplies sections of Alturas Supermarket, Plaza Marcela, Island City Mall, and Alturas-Talibon. From the simple ballpens and notebooks, to the more complex drawing sets, and other stuffs, all the "back-to-school" needs are there.

Also going on at the four stores of Alturas Supermarket, Plaza Marcela, Kris-Lyn Shop N' Dine and Alturas-Talibon is the "Back-to-School" Scholarship Promo 2010, where 40 students will receive scholarship grants worth P6,000 each. One can join the promo for every cash purchase worth P100 to P200.

Plaza Marcela, Alturas Supermarket, Island City Mall, and Alturas-Talibon also offer the Monde Nissin "Pakwela sa Skwela" Raffle Promo 2010, now going on until July 9, 2010.

A customer can join the promo by simply buying any of the following Monde Nissin products: Lucky Me (Beef or Chicken), Pancit Canton, Voice, Snitch, Bingo, Eggnog, Breadsticks, Sumo and Lucky Me Supreme, with a minimum single receipt worth of P150.00. One raffle coupon is also given for every wholesale/walk-in cash purchase worth P500.00 and for every wholesale viaje worth of P2,000.00.

One winner will receive the grand prize of P20,000 worth of gift certificates and P10,000 cash. Another one will receive an Acer Laptop, and other prizes such as four sets of school bags, four grocery packs, and four Wireless Broadbands.
