Reelected Gov. Erico B. Aumentado and Vice-Gov. Julius Caesar F. Herrera will lead the oath-taking of provincial officials-elect during the ceremonies to be held at the Bohol Cultural Center (BCC) on Friday starting at 7:30 in the morning.
Also to take their vow to serve the people are re-elected Congressmen Edgar M. Chatto, Roberto C. Cajes of first and second districts, respectively, and 3rd district Congressman-elect neophyte Adam Relson Jala, son of outgoing Rep. Eladio M. Jala of Loboc town.
All ceremonies, including saying of holy mass will be done at the BCC, unlike previous oath-taking rites wherein a mass was said at the St. Joseph Cathedral, Capitol organizers said.
The holy mass, which will start at 8:30 a.m., will be mainly officiated by Rev. Fr. Jeffrey Malanog, judicial vicar general of Tagbilaran diocese; Rev. Fr. Ernesto Lagura, SVD, president, Holy Name University; Msgr. Margarito Gonzaga; and Rev. Fr. Ilogon.
Bishop Medroso won't be available during the occasion, organizers said.
During the holy mass, Aumentado and Herrera will do the first and second readings, respectively, and the congressmen and provincial board members-elect will say the prayer of the faithful.
After the mass, swearing in of the officials-elect will follow.
Aumentado is to take his oath of office before RTC Judge Baudilio Dosdos; Herrera before RTC Judge Flux Baluma; Congressman Chatto before RTC Judge Fernando Fuentes; Congressman Cajes before RTC Judge Achilles Melicor; and Congressman Adam Jala before Judge Venancio Amila.
First district neophyte provincial board member (BM) Yul Lopez will be sworn in by Provincial Legal Officer Atty. Handel Lagunay; also newcomer BM Alfonso Damalerio II before Judge Fernando Fuentes; and reelected BM Jose E. Veloso before RTC Judge Pablo Magdoza.Second district reelected BM Amalia R. Tirol will take her oath before Judge Daniel Garces; BM Josephine Socorro C. Jumamoy before Provincial Prosecutor Macario Delusa; and BM Ma. Fe Camacho-Lejos before Judge Baudilio Dosdos.
Outgoing Alicia mayor and neophyte BM Dr. Bienvenido Molina of 3rd district will be sworn in by Judge Suceso Arcamo; reelected BM Ester Corazon J. Galbreath before Judge Migrino; outgoing Carmen vice-mayor and neophyte BM Josil Trabajo before Judge Samuel Biliran; and also neophyte BM Atty. Aster Piollo before Judge Magdoza.
Immediately after the oath-taking, the governor, vice-governor and the three congressmen will deliver their respective inaugural speeches.
Lunch will be served to all and visitors and victory ball will follow in the afternoon.
