Cong. Edgar Chatto graces the opening of Tagbo sa Tagbi tonight.

He congratulated the City Government of Tagbilaran led by Mayor Baba Yap and the Sangguniang Panglungsod headed by Vice Mayor Toto Veloso for the initiative that has enliven the quiet street of the old Holy Spirit School. He also hopes the activity is held on a long term basis to open economic opportunities and for the enjoyment of locals and visitors alike.

The night market is part of investment, tourism, and culture and arts development efforts of the City Government to establish Tagbilaran as a destination and not just a gateway to Bohol.

Gov. Art Yap for his part sees the City Government as a partner in the goal of wealth creation and job creation through tourism. Strong markets mean more opportunities for farmers and producers.

Tagbo sa Tagbi runs until July 21 and is open from 5pm to 11pm at J Borja Street of Old Holy Spirit School. Cultural performances are also held nightly.
