Intensified Interdiction Efforts at the Tagbilaran Port, Bohol
On November 23, 2020, at 9:00 a.m., in adherence to the operational guidelines on COVID-19 in the Province of Bohol, personnel of PDEA Bohol Provincial Office and PDEA RO VII K9 Unit, under the direct supervision of IA V Joseph Theodore B. Atila, conducted random K9 inspection of cargoes of sea vessels coming from Cebu City at the Tagbilaran Port, in Bohol.
Together with the teams were personnel of PPA PMO Bohol, under the direct supervision of SPPI Greg Dela Cruz, Acting StaCom; Bohol MARPSTA, under the direct supervision of PMAJ Jose B. Los Baños; and Bohol Tourist Police, under direct supervision of PMAJ Jacinto Chavez Mandal Jr.
NDDs Hyper and Uno, together with their handlers, assisted during the inspection.
No dangerous drugs were found.
This is part of the Agency's intensified campaign to interdict drug couriers passing through the seaports of Bohol.
