Bohol Governor Art Yap goes to Balilihan for Tingog sa mga Bol-anon.
The Governor discussed the different programs to help the farmers highlighted coconut as the number one export product in the Philippines.
Aside from this, he shared that the long term goal is to invest in an Integrated Coconut Plant in Balilihan.
Gov Yap also said that the Provincial Government of Bohol is ready to counterpart with the Philippine Coconut Association in the construction.
The different heads of offices were also present to discuss the different programs under their office and address the concerns of the barangays. Dr Larry Pamugas of (OPA), Engr. Dodong Gasatan (PEO), Jovencia Ganub (BEMO), Dr. Yul Lopez (PHO), Mita Tecdon (OPSWD), GinaLuz Dano (EDCENTER), Jo Cabarrus (BTO), Dr. Bing Lapiz (OPV), Vilmar Yorong (BEPO), Mirasol Balistoy (DOT), Peter Retutal (PBMO) and Emi Romero (PCA).
Cong. Edgar Chatto and Mayor Pureza Chatto of Balilihan expressed their gratitude for the support from the Governor.
A medical mission and legal services was being done. And the barangays receive MDR's from Philhealth.
