The province joins the global observance of the 1st World Glaucoma Day on Thursday with activities lined up at the Ramiro Hospital, this city.
Dr. Oliver Yu said that glaucoma screening will be conducted for intra-ocular pressure on Thursday together with a lay at the fourth floor of Ramiro hospital. An awareness campaign in glaucoma will be conducted.
The Philippine Glaucoma Society is joining the observance with the theme "May Glaucoma Ka Ba?" This is a joint effort with the Department of Health, Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology and the Philippine Glaucoma Society and World Glaucoma Association.
