Willie Revillame of Wowowee Threatens ABS-CBN to Quit

TV host Willie Revillame has been absent from his blockbuster noontime game show for two straight days since he threatened to resign unless his bosses fired one of his “detractors.”

During the May 4 episode of “Wowowee,” Revillame announced that he would quit hosting the program if ABS-CBN management did not fire Jobert Sucaldito, an entertainment columnist, radio show biz commentator, and segment host of the TV gossip program “The Buzz.”

The network has yet to directly address Revillame’s threat. On the phone yesterday with the Inquirer, corporate communications head Bong Osorio said he and other network executives were “discussing” the issue.

I don't watch "the buzz" pero kung mo entra naka sa showbiz, dili ba diay na given nga baga naka ug panit. Maybe he's angling for a bigger paycheck.

Kinsa man na si Revillame.  Salig siya kay sikat iyang show blackmailon na dayon ang network.  Kahambugero :-[  Kadaghan mopuli sa iya.

kaingon tingali si willie nga siya na ang kinamaayuhang tawo sa showbiz industry. hambugero na kaayo. kinsa may nakapahimo niya kung kinsa siya karon? di ba, abs-cbn? he does not have any right to threaten the network.  ::) ::) ::)

Wasn't he suspended for being bastos (in a seual way)  to a girl candidate for some contest on national TV ? or something like that. I thought that would've been reason enough to kick him to the curb.

he wanted jobert to be out of abs for commenting wowowee's contestants whose grades were 75 something.but willie forgot that his comments were more derogatory most of the time than jobert's. nagpakita lang jud sya na wala syay batasan.
